At the Hanoi People Magazine, Vice Chairman of Hanoi City Vu Thu Ha highly appreciated the efforts and endeavors of the magazine's staff. Comrade Vu Thu Ha emphasized that Hanoi is the center of the whole country, so press activities have their own characteristics, needing to meet the development needs of the capital. Hanoi People Magazine, under the City Literature and Arts Association, after converting its operating model from newspaper to magazine, continues to operate with its own characteristics, closely following the city's guidelines and policies but still retains the identity of a Hanoi magazine.

Besides encouragement and motivation, comrade Vu Thu Ha also said that in the coming time, in the context that the press will reorganize according to general requirements, Hanoi People Magazine needs to ensure good implementation of general propaganda work, deploy propaganda activities on the city's policies and guidelines, but still needs to innovate, be creative, closely follow the principles and purposes, and become a bridge between the people and the city government.

“In the trend of streamlining and reducing the number of press agencies”, the Editorial Board of Hanoi People Magazine needs to consider building and developing the magazine in a new direction, focusing on the content of cultural development, building elegant and civilized Hanoians, and issues of developing the capital's cultural industry. To do so, the Editorial Board, staff, reporters, and editors of the magazine need to have new thinking and ways of working to meet the city's new information needs,” emphasized Comrade Vu Thu Ha.

Regarding the direction and tasks in the near future, Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi People Magazine Vuong Minh Hue said that the magazine is currently published once a month and still closely follows the city's propaganda policies, including specialized pages and columns on Hanoi culture and people. The magazine has also implemented two new initiatives, which are developing a specialized radio channel on Hanoi culture; digitizing Hanoi relics on an electronic platform. In the coming time, Hanoi People Magazine will continue to carry out in-depth content on Hanoi cultural development in its publications.

On the same morning, at the visit and congratulation ceremony of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day at Lao Dong Thu Do Newspaper, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha highly appreciated the efforts and endeavors of the newspaper staff in the past time in accompanying the city to well perform the tasks of propagating policies, guidelines and general guidelines of the Capital and the country. Comrade Vu Thu Ha also encouraged the newspaper staff to try harder and make more efforts in the new development stage of the Capital and the country, especially in the context that the press nationwide and the Capital are restructuring their apparatus.

Comrade Vu Thu Ha noted that regardless of the organizational model, the press still plays an important role in contributing to the development of the capital and the country. In any situation, the press needs to proactively take a step ahead in information and propaganda activities to not only inform the policies of the Central Government and the city but also play a role in orienting public opinion, grasping people's thoughts, and being an important bridge between the city and the people.

Comrade Vu Thu Ha said that in the new development context of the country, leadership and direction will have many innovations, press agencies will have many new challenges, but Hanoi always cares about press agencies. The city believes that the capital's press agencies will overcome new challenges and difficulties, confidently carry out assigned tasks, contributing to bringing the country into a new era of development and prosperity.

Editor-in-Chief of the Capital Labor Newspaper Nguyen Van Binh said that the unit is currently making efforts to carry out the propaganda tasks of the city and the whole country. In the future, when the press agencies of the country and the Capital are reorganized and renewed, the Editorial Board and the newspaper will always comply with the instructions of the Central Government and Hanoi City, completing the assigned tasks.
