Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen directed to thoroughly resolve citizens' petitions.

On the morning of October 20, at the regular October citizen reception, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen directly listened to and resolved many petitions from the people.

Comrade Le Trong Yen, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee chaired the regular citizen reception meeting in October.

At the meeting, he listened to and resolved a number of people's petitions, including the case of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh's household (Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat) related to resettlement issues when the State reclaimed land at Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area.

After studying the petition, comrade Le Trong Yen, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, requested the People's Committees of wards to report on issues related to Ms. Lan Anh's petition; departments and branches to review the legality, based on the provisions of the law to advise on responses and definitively resolve issues related to Ms. Lan Anh's petition.

At the citizen reception, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh stated that the State had reclaimed her family’s land 20 years ago and had changed the resettlement location many times. She requested that the authorities promptly consider and allocate resettlement land so that her family could stabilize their lives.

Citizen Nguyen Thi Lan Anh presented the issue related to resettlement arrangement of her family when the State reclaimed the family's land at Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area.

Ms. Lan Anh said that the government had reclaimed her family’s land 20 years ago and the State has now invested and exploited this land. However, the family has not yet been resettled. She requested that the authorities promptly consider and arrange suitable accommodation for the family to stabilize their lives.

Comrade Le Trong Yen discussed and answered citizens, affirming that he would direct the settlement of the case on the basis of the law, ensuring harmony of interests between the State and citizens.

Responding to citizen Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen affirmed that her request and rights are legitimate, and the State has the responsibility to ensure them. The Provincial People's Committee will accept opinions, specifically review the resettlement land fund according to the family's proposal and issue a directive to resolve the matter.

By making citizen Nguyen Thi Lan Anh's family wait for the past 20 years, the State owes its citizens and will be responsible for paying back accordingly, but it must be on a legal basis, ensuring harmony of interests between the State and the people.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen assigned the Chairman of the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat and the People's Committee of Lang Biang Ward - Da Lat to review the resettlement land fund and report to the Provincial People's Committee before October 30 to promptly arrange resettlement land for Ms. Lan Anh as requested, ensuring harmony of the legitimate rights and interests of citizens.

Leaders of the Ward People's Committee and the Lawyers Association attended the regular citizen reception session of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.

In addition to the case of Ms. Lan Anh's household, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also heard reports on 12 other cases and assigned the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee to study the records and explain to the people.

Regarding another case where a citizen petitioned on an issue related to the authority of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, he requested that the department research and respond clearly and specifically to the people.
