Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh worked with Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2

On the morning of October 20, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh chaired a working session with Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 on the progress of public investment projects in 2025.

Attending the meeting were representatives of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Office, leaders of relevant departments, branches, units, People's Committees of communes and wards.

Leaders of Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 reported on the implementation status of projects at the working session.

According to the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2, as of October 19, the unit had disbursed 282/398 billion VND, reaching 71% of the capital plan for 2025; expected to reach 98% by the end of the year and complete 100% by the end of January 2026. The unit also reported on the implementation status and pointed out a number of difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing assigned projects.

Specifically, the Ca Ty River Apartment project has a planned capital of 162.2 billion VND, and has so far disbursed 50% of the 2025 plan, expected to reach 98% by the end of the year and complete 100% by January 31, 2026. However, compensation and site clearance work is still stuck, affecting construction progress.

Regarding the Technical Infrastructure Project of the Social Housing Area in Tien Loi Commune, the unit has completed the construction items on the handed-over area, reaching 67% of the volume. From December 2023, the project had to be temporarily suspended due to lack of additional land for implementation. Currently, the project has expired but has not been extended and there is no specific land price to compensate the remaining households.

At the meeting, representatives of relevant departments and branches also gave their opinions.

Meanwhile, the old Binh Thuan Province Funeral Home project has a planned capital of 1.5 billion VND in 2025, and has so far disbursed more than 97% and will be completed at 100% by the end of the year. However, the project is waiting for the Provincial People's Committee to give its opinion on continuing implementation, so there is no basis to carry out the next procedures. On the other hand, up to now, the project has not completed the procedures to determine specific land prices for compensation, support, resettlement, etc.

With the Hung Vuong Park project, this year more than 97% of the assigned capital plan (1,108/1.14 billion VND) has been disbursed and will soon be completed at 100% by the end of October 2025. Currently, the project is facing difficulties due to the lack of capital allocation to pay for detailed planning costs, and the procedures for determining specific land prices for compensation, support, and resettlement have not been completed.

Representatives of Binh Thuan Ward People's Committee gave opinions on some local related contents.

In addition, the unit also implements projects: Binh Loi River embankment (this year's capital plan is 5 billion VND), Repair of Binh Thuan Provincial Lung Hospital (1,979 billion VND), Reinforcement of flood drainage channel from Ben Loi River junction to the end of Hung Vuong II residential area - phase 2A (700 million VND)... also expected to complete disbursement at 100% by the end of 2025...

At the meeting, representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and localities such as Binh Thuan, Phu Thuy, Mui Ne and the Provincial People's Committee Office gave their opinions and proposed many solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles to speed up the progress of project implementation, contributing to the completion of public investment capital disbursement of Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 this year with the highest results.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh requested the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 and related units to proactively coordinate to remove difficulties for each project, especially in compensation, site clearance, support and resettlement. At the same time, strive to speed up the implementation progress, ensuring 100% disbursement as committed.

Regarding Hung Vuong Park, the provincial People's Committee leader requested that the Management Board of Construction Investment Project No. 2 in the coming time soon coordinate to draft a scenario and detailed program to start the project on the occasion of celebrating the founding day of the Communist Party of Vietnam early next year...
