At the meeting, Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut said that, taking advantage of the advantages and potentials after the merger, Tay Ninh province has built an economic growth scenario of 9.3% in 2025 and is striving to achieve a double-digit target; orienting to build targets for the period 2026-2030.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh requested Tay Ninh to effectively operate the two-level local government model, not to interrupt people's work, and at the same time strongly shift the mindset from administration to serving the people. The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the province needs to soon complete the apparatus, increase human resources at the grassroots level, ensuring to meet the requirements in the new period.

The Deputy Prime Minister also requested Tay Ninh province to make more efforts, striving for a growth rate of 10% in 2025; to focus on administrative reform, promoting competitive advantages, developing industry, trade, services, tourism, high-tech agriculture; speeding up investment in transport infrastructure, ensuring social security, environment and border security; ministries and branches are assigned to coordinate to remove difficulties so that Tay Ninh can make a breakthrough in the last months of the year.
