Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha gives Tet gifts to the poor

The Deputy Prime Minister's working delegation presented 100 gifts to poor households, near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances, workers and laborers in Chau Duc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.


On January 10, the working delegation of leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha presented Tet gifts to poor households, near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances, workers, and laborers of Chau Duc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province before the Lunar New Year 2025.

This year, to take care of Tet for the poor, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has mobilized resources of more than 291 billion VND.

At the gift-giving ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha sent greetings from General Secretary To Lam and leaders of the Party and State to the Party Committee, government and people of the province.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his joy and appreciation for the results achieved by Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in 2024, when it achieved an impressive growth rate of 11.72%, ranking third in the country.

Mr. Pham Viet Thanh, Secretary of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, presented gifts to Chau Duc people.

"Ba Ria - Vung Tau province needs to continue to pay attention and attract investment in developing infrastructure in culture, health, and education. Strengthen social security policies so that in the near future, people can enjoy high-quality social services, improve the happiness index...", said the Deputy Prime Minister.

The delegation presented 100 gifts, each consisting of cash and gifts worth 1.3 million VND.
