An Sinh Ward: Bringing the law into life

An Sinh Ward has synchronously deployed many solutions in the work of disseminating and educating the law (PBGDPL), bringing practical results, contributing to raising legal awareness of cadres, party members and people.

The ward focuses on propaganda and dissemination of legal documents and newly issued legal documents related to people's lives, especially in the fields of justice - civil status, security and order, land, environment, etc. For example, when the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Penal Code 2025 was just passed by the National Assembly on June 25, 2025, effective from July 1, 2025, it added new regulations on the crime of illegal use of narcotics, in order to raise people's awareness and sense of law compliance. The ward police proactively advised the ward People's Committee to deploy propaganda according to the motto "go to every alley, knock on every house, check every person". At the working sessions, the functional forces disseminated new regulations in Article 256a on the crime of "Illegal use of narcotics" with provisions for criminal handling in some cases.

In recent times, the work of PBGDPL in An Sinh ward has always received the attention, leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the People's Committee of the ward, the close coordination of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and organizations such as the Women's Union, Youth Union, Veterans Association...

Every year, the ward issues a plan to implement legal dissemination and mediation at the grassroots level, build a commune-level that meets legal access standards, clearly defines tasks and key solutions, and assigns specific responsibilities to each department and organization. Thereby, creating synchronization and unity in implementation, improving the effectiveness of propaganda work.

During the period of 2020-2025, An Sinh ward organized many conferences on propaganda and legal dissemination, attracting thousands of participants. Notably, the ward has deployed many effective legal dissemination models such as mobile legal propaganda, legal seminars at the grassroots level, legal knowledge competitions, integrating legal content into patriotic emulation movements, building new rural areas, crime prevention, etc. Thereby, bringing the law closer to the people, helping people understand and comply with regulations.

In addition to traditional forms of propaganda such as conferences, meetings, billboards, posters, etc., An Sinh ward has proactively applied information technology and social networks to legal dissemination work. The ward's Zalo and Facebook pages regularly post legal information, Q&A documents, and vivid, visual propaganda videos , helping people easily access and grasp legal regulations related to daily life.

The innovation of propaganda forms not only improves efficiency but also saves time and money, and is suitable for local conditions. Especially in the context of digital transformation, this approach helps bring the law closer to all people, especially teenagers and young workers.

The work of fostering legal knowledge for cadres, civil servants and grassroots mediators is always given attention. Cadres and civil servants assigned to perform mediation tasks at the grassroots level are regularly trained and updated on new legal documents, improving their skills in applying the law to resolve conflicts and disputes at the local level.

Thanks to that, many conflicts and disputes in the area were successfully mediated, contributing to maintaining security, order, social safety, and building solidarity in the community. In 5 years (2020-2025), the ward received 170 cases, of which 89.9% were successfully mediated.

Thanks to the synchronous implementation of solutions, the work of disseminating and educating the law in An Sinh ward has had many positive changes. Awareness and sense of law compliance of cadres, party members and people have been significantly improved. However, the work of disseminating and educating the law still has some difficulties such as: limited socio -economic conditions, uneven investment resources for disseminating and educating the law; uneven intellectual level; a part of the people still have little interest in learning about the law.

An Sinh Ward determined to continue promoting legal dissemination work, mobilizing the strength of the entire political system and society, thereby contributing to building a strong grassroots government and a disciplined and civilized society.
