Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee has just issued Regulations on expenditure contents and expenditure levels of the Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Fund in the province.

Accordingly, the province specifically regulates the level of expenditure to support the evacuation of people from dangerous areas; medical care, food, and drinking water for people in evacuation areas: 50,000 VND/person/day; support of 120,000 VND/day/person for forces mobilized to perform natural disaster prevention and control tasks but not receiving salaries from the State budget (if mobilized at night, the support level is doubled).

Regarding relief and support for overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, the support level shall not exceed 100,000 VND for emergency relief of food, drinking water, medicine and other urgent needs for those affected by natural disasters; emergency relief of books and learning materials: The support level shall not exceed 200,000 VND/student.

For poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households whose houses have been completely destroyed, collapsed, washed away, or burned down due to natural disasters and have no place to live, they will be considered for housing construction cost support at a rate of 60 million VND/household and the Fund's ability to balance. Poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households whose houses have been severely damaged due to natural disasters and cannot be lived in will be considered for housing repair cost support at a rate of 30 million VND/household and the Fund's ability to balance.

Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee also stipulates support for repairing medical facilities, schools, and houses combined with evacuation sites to prevent natural disasters: The support level is based on the assessment of actual damage, up to 50 million VND/project and the Fund's ability to balance. Support for environmental sanitation in disaster areas: The maximum support level is 10 million VND/commune and the Fund's ability to balance.
