Quang Ngai: Newborn baby's body found in trash can

On September 16, Son Ha District Police (Quang Ngai Province) are coordinating with functional units to examine the scene and investigate the case of a newborn baby's body being abandoned in a trash bin.

According to Mr. Le Van Vin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Son Ha commune, at about 3 a.m. the same day, employees of Quang Ngai Urban Environment Joint Stock Company - Son Ha Branch, while collecting garbage at the Ha Thanh intersection (Son Ha commune), discovered the body of a newborn baby inside a trash can and immediately reported it to the commune police.

Immediately afterwards, Son Ha Commune Police arrived at the scene, organized protection of the area, coordinated with relevant agencies to conduct an examination and collect evidence to serve the investigation.

The Commune Police are currently requesting that if people have information related to the incident, they should provide it to the authorities as soon as possible to assist in the investigation. At the same time, the local government also recommends that families and individuals raise their sense of responsibility in caring for and protecting children, to prevent such tragic incidents from happening.
