Schools must be ready to receive people seeking shelter from storms when safety conditions are assured. Immediately after a storm, schools must promptly repair damage, clean up, and sanitize classrooms to ensure safety, cleanliness, and disease prevention.

In Hai Phong City, a representative of the education sector said that there has been a document instructing schools on allowing students to stay home from school based on weather conditions when storm Ragasa makes landfall.
Accordingly, the principal will decide whether to let students and teachers take time off depending on the weather and facilities.
In case students have to miss school, the school will organize make-up classes after storm No. 9 passes.
Currently, due to the complicated weather situation, some schools have announced that students will be off school on September 25.
