In the overall 9-month growth of the entire economy, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector increased by 3.2%, contributing 0.48 percentage points; the industry and construction sector (+11.2%; contributing 3.57 percentage points); the service sector (+4.9%; contributing 1.64 percentage points); product taxes minus product subsidies (+1.3%; contributing 0.26 percentage points). These figures show that Quang Nam's economy has had a very positive recovery.

At current prices, the economic scale of Quang Nam province in the first 9 months of 2024 is estimated at nearly 90.9 trillion VND. In the GRDP structure, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector accounts for 16.3%; the industry - construction sector accounts for 31.8%; the service sector accounts for 34.8%; product taxes minus product subsidies account for 17.1% (corresponding to the first 9 months of 2023: 16.7%; 30.3%; 35.0%; 18.0%).

According to the General Statistics Office, the country's GDP increased by 7.4% in the third quarter; and by 6.82% in the first 9 months of 2024. With a 9-month GRDP growth rate of 5.9%, Quang Nam ranked 50th out of 63 provinces and cities; ranked 12th out of 14 provinces in the North Central and Central Coast; and ranked 4th out of 5 provinces in the Central key economic region.

In terms of GRDP scale, compared to 63 provinces and cities nationwide, Quang Nam ranks 27th/63 provinces and cities; 8th/14 provinces in the North Central and Central Coast; 4th/5 provinces in the key economic region of the Central region (after Da Nang , Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh).
