Launching of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association in Thai Nguyen province

On the morning of September 18, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association of Thai Nguyen province, term 2025-2030, held an inaugural ceremony and met with members. Attending the inaugural ceremony were painter Mai Thi Ngoc Oanh, Vice President of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association; leaders of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association; numerous members of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association of Thai Nguyen province and art lovers.

The Vietnam Fine Arts Association of Thai Nguyen province was established on the basis of merging the Vietnam Fine Arts Associations of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces (before the merger), with a total of 25 members. Over the years, the artists of the association have maintained a vibrant creative movement, achieving many outstanding achievements. Some of the typical faces have won national and regional fine arts awards such as: painter Nguyen Gia Bay, painter Duong Van Chung, painter Tran Giang Nam, painter Truong Manh Sang, etc.

The launching ceremony and announcement of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association in Thai Nguyen province is also an opportunity for artists in the province to exchange and express their solidarity and creativity; marking a new turning point in creative activities, accompanying the development of the homeland and the country.

At the Ceremony, the Association also displayed and introduced many new works of art created in 2025, diverse in materials and styles, vividly reflecting the natural beauty and cultural life of ethnic minorities in the highlands.

Painter Mai Thi Ngoc Oanh, Vice President of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, presented the Medal for the Cause of Vietnamese Fine Arts to Ms. Nguyen Thuy Quynh, President of the Thai Nguyen Literature and Arts Association.
