Rumors of a secret God of War game in development

According to ComicBook , while Santa Monica Studios, the familiar developer of the God of War franchise, is said to be hard at work on the next version (expected for PlayStation 6) of the hit game series, a recent emerging rumor has revealed the existence of another God of War project, being produced by another developer.

If this information is correct, this would be a surprising move by Sony. God of War has long been known as a brand associated with Santa Monica Studios, so a separate version made by another developer could bring a completely new experience.
