This morning, July 9, domestic gold price decreased by 400,000 VND/tael, slipping below the 121 million VND/tael mark.

At nearly 9:00 a.m., the company listed the price of SJC gold bars at 118.6 million VND/tael (buy) - 120.6 million VND/tael (sell), down 400,000 VND/tael each way compared to the end of yesterday.

The price of gold rings remained the same in some places, but decreased in others. Saigon Jewelry Company Limited set it at 114.4 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.9 million VND/tael (sell), unchanged from the end of the previous day.

Meanwhile, Phu Quy Group listed the price of gold rings at 114.1 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.1 million VND/tael (sell), down 200,000 VND/tael each way compared to the end of the previous day.

Yesterday, the domestic gold price initially increased by 500,000 VND/tael, reaching 121 million VND/tael, then dropped below this mark, and increased again at the end of the day.

Early this morning, the world gold price was trading at 3,302 USD/ounce, down sharply from 3,340 USD/ounce at the same time the previous day.

Precious metal prices fell sharply as investors rushed to take profits, and the US postponed the deadline for imposing new tariffs on many countries until August 1 to create more time for negotiations. At 8:30 a.m., the gold price was trading at 3,303.4 USD/ounce, equivalent to about 16 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
