With the motto "wherever needed, there are youth, wherever there is difficulty, there are youth", the union members have devoted their efforts to the most urgent tasks. Hundreds of young volunteers have joined the authorities and people to carry out environmental sanitation work in flooded areas; collecting waste, clearing sewers, and disinfecting to prevent epidemics from arising after the flood.
Support for people in affected areas has also been stepped up. Youth groups have organized clean water transport and essential food supplies to households in need. Young people have also actively assisted people in moving people and property to safe temporary shelters, helping people stabilize their lives.
For example, Dong Ngac Ward Youth Union established a rapid response youth team of 20 people to support more than 1,000 households in the Ecohome apartment complex to move to safe shelters, and at the same time arranged forces to be ready to respond when situations arise.
In Thuong Phuc commune, two important dike points at Phuc Lam pagoda (Cao Xa) and hamlet 3 (Trieu Dong) appeared to be sinking. Union members and youths coordinated with military forces and people to urgently reinforce the dike, making efforts to minimize damage caused by prolonged rain and floods.

Meanwhile, the Youth Union of Nam Phu commune mobilized its members to coordinate with officials and people to pack more than 300 sandbags to build a dam to block the flow, limiting the Red River from flooding into the residential area in Dai Lan village.
The practical actions of the youth, not afraid of hardship, have spread warmth and faith, contributing significantly to helping the community overcome this difficult period, clearly demonstrating the volunteer role of the young generation for the community.
