Merging 2 colleges, changing name to Da Nang College

GD&TĐ - Merge Danang College of Culture and Arts into Danang Vocational College and change the name to Danang College.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son has just signed Decision 1867/QD-BGDDT on merging the existing Da Nang College of Culture and Arts into Da Nang Vocational College and changing its name to Da Nang College.

According to the decision, the Ministry of Education and Training requested the People's Committee of Da Nang City to direct relevant agencies and units to fully hand over and receive personnel, finance, assets and students of Da Nang College of Culture and Arts to Da Nang Vocational College in accordance with legal regulations.

The Ministry of Education and Training also noted that during the merger and reorganization process, it is necessary to ensure the maintenance of normal operations, protect the legitimate rights and interests of relevant parties, and at the same time prevent negativity, loss or waste of finance and assets.

Danang Vocational College is a multi-vocational, high-quality, international-standard public school. The school operates under a completely autonomous mechanism; has a maximum training scale of 4,000 students/year, 80% of which are college level; including 9 key occupations with breakthrough quality according to international standards in 3 fields: High-tech Engineering, Information Technology and Services - Tourism, with a scale of about 1,500 students to train and supply high-quality, highly competitive human resources to serve the socio-economic development of Danang, the Central region, the whole country and labor export.
