After 40 years, the 'huge' military equipment paraded on Ba Dinh Square again

Since 1985, this is the second time a large-scale mass of vehicles, weapons and equipment has participated in a parade at Ba Dinh Square, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

On the evening of August 21, the first general training activity of armed forces participating in the parade and marching in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2, took place at Ba Dinh Square ( Hanoi ).

Tens of thousands of police and military soldiers, along with military vehicles and parade forces, participated in the general training.

The S-125-VT uses old missiles of the S-125-M1 complex. After being improved by the Military Industry-Telecoms Group ( Viettel ), it has increased the rate of hitting targets and the ability to guide multiple missiles at the same time with a range increased to more than 20km.

The vehicles and artillery appearing this time at the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day and September 2 are all modern weapons in the service of the Vietnam People's Army and People's Public Security.

The UAV system is researched and produced by Vietnam itself, with a cruising speed of up to 120 km/h; performing reconnaissance, surveillance, combat, rescue, and data provision missions...

The XCB-01 infantry fighting vehicle is equipped with a laser irradiation sensor system, helping the vehicle react quickly in case of being irradiated by enemy target designation lasers (artillery, missiles, UAVs...). The B72 anti-tank missile is integrated on a fixed launcher on the main gun of the XCB-01. With a base of 4 missiles carried, the XCB-01 is capable of attacking enemy heavy vehicles beyond the range of the 73mm main gun.

Evaluating the first General Training Session, General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense, requested that all units and forces continue to practice so that the upcoming general training and preliminary rehearsal, especially the State-level rehearsal and parade practice during the Anniversary Ceremony on the morning of September 2, will ensure quality, safety, and be worthy of the country's important event.
