The 2025 job fair in Tien Thang commune (Hanoi) has the participation of 30 units and enterprises with the need to recruit 2,180 job positions, enroll students, and export labor. This is a good opportunity for workers to choose suitable jobs and stabilize their lives.

On October 4, at Tu Lap High School, Hanoi Employment Service Center coordinated with the Department of Culture and Social Affairs of Tien Thang Commune People's Committee to organize the Tien Thang Commune Employment Service Session in 2025.

Attending the Job Fair was Mr. Tran Dinh Canh, Director of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs. The Job Fair was organized to support local and neighboring workers to access labor market information, practice job search skills and participate in direct interviews with businesses. The event is an important bridge, creating conditions for 30 units and businesses to recruit quality human resources, promptly meeting the year-end production and business plans.

At the Employment Exchange Session, Mr. Nguyen Tay Nam, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs, said: Implementing the City People's Committee's Plan on supporting and developing the labor market and creating jobs for employees in the city in 2025; from the beginning of 2025, the Department of Home Affairs has proactively coordinated with the city's departments, branches, and sectors, and the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to synchronously deploy solutions, strengthen the connection between labor supply and demand, support sustainable career transition for employees, actively support maintaining stable jobs for employees, and reduce the unemployment rate.

“In particular, right after the City implemented the two-level local government, the Department of Home Affairs advised the City People's Committee to issue Plan No. 199/KH-UBND dated July 24, 2025 on Supporting and developing the labor market, creating jobs for employees in the last 6 months of 2025, ensuring compliance with the implementation of the two-level local government. With the efforts of all levels, sectors and localities, in the first 9 months of 2025, the whole City created jobs for 178,875 workers, exceeding the 2025 plan by 5.84%,” said Mr. Nguyen Tay Nam.

In the plan to arrange satellite job exchanges in Hanoi, the Department of Home Affairs is submitting to the City People's Committee for approval the remaining planning of 9 satellite job exchanges, including 3 floors located in communes and wards in the northern part of the City; this shows that the Department of Home Affairs and all levels and sectors continue to highly appreciate the dynamism, potential, and opportunities for socio-economic development and labor market development in the area, including Tien Thang commune.

“The organization of today's Mobile Employment Exchange is of practical significance, and is one of the solutions to promote the development of the labor market, supporting businesses and workers in the commune and neighboring areas. In the face of the economic situation in the country as well as the City and the commune still facing many difficulties and challenges; the problem of solving employment for workers still faces great difficulties, workers have difficulty finding jobs that suit their needs, employers need workers but still lack information, lack of highly skilled workers, recruitment of vocational training institutions also faces many difficulties, which directly affects the work of solving labor and employment problems. Therefore, the coordination of the Commune People's Committee with the Department of Home Affairs, Hanoi Employment Service Center to organize the Employment Exchange Session in the commune is extremely important, one of the effective solutions to ensure social security in the area.

The 2025 Tien Thang commune recruitment session witnessed a vibrant recruitment picture with a total of 2,180 recruitment and enrollment targets.

According to statistics from the Hanoi Employment Service Center, the demand for recruiting unskilled workers accounts for the highest proportion with 941 targets (43.2% of total demand); the demand for intermediate-level workers - technical workers: 561 targets (accounting for 25.7%); the demand for college-level - university-level workers or higher with 678 targets (accounting for 31.1%).

The recruitment targets at the Tien Thang commune job fair are diverse in many positions such as: Head, Deputy Head of Department to popular positions such as sales - cashier, consultant, business - marketing, technician, production worker, QA staff. The targets are evaluated to have quality, clear benefits, satisfactory income, meeting the needs of many different labor groups.

Job opportunities at this GDVL session mainly focus on young and dynamic labor groups: The age group of 26 - 35 years old is dominant with 914 positions (41.9%); the age group of 18 - 25 years old accounts for 33.5% of recruitment needs. These two age groups account for a total of nearly 75.4% of recruitment needs, showing that the labor market is looking for young people with the ability to learn and develop.

Sharing about the recruitment needs, Mr. Le Van Tran, Deputy Director of Hao An Phat Production - Trade - Service Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Quang Minh Industrial Park, Hanoi) said: The company operates in the field of providing high-quality steel and mechanical processing; officially operating since 2015 and is in need of expanding production, so the company is in need of recruiting more staff.

Participating in the GDVL Session in Tat Thang commune this time, Mr. Le Van Tran said that the unit is looking for candidates for direct production positions, while expanding job opportunities in the accounting, business, and logistics departments.

As a worker participating in finding job opportunities at the Employment Exchange, Mr. Nguyen Van My, in Tat Thang commune, is looking for a job related to the electricity industry to have the opportunity to work near home.

“I used to work in Thang Long Industrial Park as a car mechanic. Therefore, during a job fair in the locality, I went to find out information and approached some businesses that were recruiting with suitable salaries. Now, after a brief interview about working conditions, I will contact them directly for more specific discussions,” said Nguyen Van My.

Ms. Minh Hang, in Me Linh commune, came to the Job Fair to find information for her children about recruiting workers to work abroad in some foreign labor markets.
