At Tran Hung Dao Primary School (Cau Ong Lanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the fund to support people affected by natural disasters is open until September 15 for all staff, teachers, employees and students of the school with voluntary contributions.

"This morning I brought 30,000 VND of my savings to support people affected by the storm and flood. We hope that people in the flood-affected areas will soon overcome these difficulties," Thanh Ngoc, a student in class 2/7 at Tran Hung Dao Primary School, emotionally said.

Sharing about the campaign to support flood victims right after the opening ceremony, Ms. Le Thanh Huong - the school's principal - said that over the years, the school has always shared the losses, pain, and difficulties of the people, especially students in flood-affected areas.

"Students go to school to learn to read and write, to learn to be human, to multiply good things, kindness... Through supporting our compatriots affected by storms and floods, I believe that they will increase the spirit of mutual love and support. That spirit is the source for them to know how to share, to care for, to love and to make more progress in their studies and work," Ms. Huong emphasized.

This year, the school does not accept congratulatory flowers. The school wants students to be imbued with the spirit of sharing and caring for their fellow countrymen, so it has launched a fund to support flood victims," said Ms. Pham Thi Thuy, the school's principal.
