First smartphone using Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip launched

According to GSMArena , the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is a powerful mid-range chip with an integrated AI engine to provide users with some automatic AI functions on the device without relying on the cloud. This means that OnePlus Ace 3V users will have many similar experiences to high-end smartphones equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

OnePlus Ace 3V is available starting at $278

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is a 4nm chip that comes with 1 Cortex-X4 core clocked at 2.8 GHz, 4 Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz and 3 Cortex-A520 cores clocked at 1.9 GHz, combined with the Adreno 732 GPU. According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 offers 15% more computing power and 45% more graphics performance than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2. The chip is also 5% more energy efficient.

Talking about the OnePlus Ace 3V, it has a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,772 x 1,240 pixels for a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This display also supports 60 Hz and 90 Hz refresh rates. Inside, in addition to the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip, the phone also comes with 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM options, as well as 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.

Key hardware features on OnePlus Ace 3V

The front of the device has a 16 MP camera with an f/2.4 lens and the ability to record 1,080p video at 30 fps. The OnePlus Ace 3V will be available in Silver Purple and Titanium Gray colors. When it launches globally, the smartphone is expected to be called the OnePlus Nord 4, although OnePlus has not confirmed this information yet.
