On July 7, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Ho Chi Minh City held a conference to announce the decision on personnel work.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions appoints department-level officials

The conference announced the decisions on receiving and appointing department heads, deputy department heads and department-level civil servants of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Ho Chi Minh City.

Specifically, the Board of Directors of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Ho Chi Minh City includes: Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Director of the Department; 7 Deputy Directors including: Nguyen Duy Tan, Duong Van Hanh, Ta Minh Phong, Nguyen Khanh Toan, Thai Tran Quoc Bao, Dang Thi Tuyet Mai, Tang Phuoc Loc.

In his speech assigning tasks, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Van Dong congratulated the appointed comrades and called on all civil servants, public employees and workers to promote their sense of responsibility and unite to overcome difficulties to complete their tasks in the new situation.

Mr. Nguyen Van Dong requested that each department must review the work from the beginning of the year until now, identify problems to promptly adjust and complete the yearly plan. At the same time, he requested that department heads and deputy heads proactively assign specific tasks to each cadre according to the management area in 168 communes, wards and special zones of Ho Chi Minh City.

Deputy heads of departments receive appointment decisions

On behalf of the officers, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Department, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Head of the Department of Beliefs and Other Religions, pledged to make every effort and accompany the collective to overcome difficulties to successfully complete the task.

“After the merger, Ho Chi Minh City gathered 54 ethnic groups and 40 religious organizations. Ho Chi Minh City became a major center of ethnicity and religion with a huge amount of work. We are committed to solidarity, training political qualities, ethics and improving professional capacity to best complete the assigned tasks,” Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang shared.

The office includes: Mr. Nguyen Minh Nghia, Chief of Office; 3 Deputy Chiefs of Office, including: Nguyen Hoang Phuong, Luu Hong Chau, Bui Thi My Ngan.

The Buddhist Department has two Deputy Heads of Department, including: Mr. Le Van Dung and Mr. Vu Huy Long.

The Department of Beliefs and Other Religions has Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang as Head of Department and Mr. Nguyen Van Chau as Deputy Head of Department.

The Catholic and Protestant Department has two Deputy Heads of Department, including Mr. Tran Minh Duc and Mr. Lam Tuan Anh.

The Ethnic Affairs Department includes: Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Duong as Head of Department; 3 Deputy Heads of Department, including: Tran Le Phuong, Lam Binh Vinh, Phuong Tho Minh.

Inspection - Legal and International Cooperation Department includes: Mr. Tran Chi Vi as Head of Department; 2 Deputy Heads of Department including: Nguyen Thi Kieu Thu, Phan Thi Kim Phuc.

The Department of Propaganda for Ethnic and Religious Affairs includes: Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga as Head of Department; 2 Deputy Heads of Department including: Huynh Thi Thanh Ha, Vuong Thanh Phong.
