The number of newly established enterprises in Hai Duong increased by more than 30%.

According to the Hai Duong Department of Finance, in the first 6 months of this year, the whole province had 1,300 newly established enterprises, an increase of 30.8% over the same period last year. The total registered investment capital was 10,000 billion VND.

Currently, the whole province has more than 21,000 enterprises with a total registered capital of over 250,000 billion VND. During the same period, the whole province had 240 dissolved enterprises, an increase of 52%; 970 enterprises temporarily suspended operations, an increase of 15.2%; 400 enterprises registered to resume operations, an increase of 12.3%.

To date, Hai Duong has more than 21,000 enterprises with a total registered capital of over VND250,000 billion. In 2025, the province aims to increase the number of established enterprises by 10% compared to 2024 (in 2024, the whole province will establish 2,000 new enterprises).

The number of newly established enterprises has increased thanks to the economic recovery, enterprises believe in the development prospects and investment environment. Since the beginning of the year, Hai Duong has cut many administrative procedures related to business activities. Support policies such as tax exemption and reduction, land rent, support for access to capital, production and business premises, start-up training, etc. continue to be maintained, creating more confidence and motivation for enterprises to invest and develop.
