Exciting series of 'Vietnam local promotion programs in China'

Implementing the series of "Programs to promote Vietnamese localities in China", on September 21, the Vietnamese Embassy in China coordinated with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam), the China - ASEAN Center (ACC) and the China Import and Export Chamber of Commerce and Industry of China for Electromechanical Products to organize the Vietnam - China Tourism and Investment Promotion Forum and the Vietnam - China Friendship Exchange Festival.

Attending the events were Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh, Deputy Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Province Huynh Van Son, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Province Phung Thanh Vinh, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Province Hoang Xuan Tan, Secretary General of ACC Su Trung Tuan and Chairman of China Electronic Products Import and Export Chamber Truong Ngoc Tinh, along with many Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh emphasized that the series of cultural exchange activities, promoting investment cooperation and tourism development between Vietnam and China is a meaningful event within the framework of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations and the Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025.

Implementing the common perception of the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and two countries on deepening and enhancing the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China, building a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future with strategic significance in the direction of "6 more", economic and investment cooperation between Vietnam and China has been actively implemented in recent times, continuing to achieve impressive results.

Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh said that the Party and State of Vietnam have issued many important resolutions and policies on breakthroughs in science and technology development and national digital transformation, private economic development; on innovation in law making and enforcement; on continuing to deepen international integration, providing a legal framework and strategic orientation, promoting institutional improvement, unlocking resources and promoting innovation.

Besides, the Ambassador also highlighted the favorable conditions and specific strengths of Tay Ninh, Quang Tri and Nghe An provinces, Vietnam in attracting and implementing investment activities and promoting tourism.

In the coming time, Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in China is committed to accompanying and effectively supporting cooperation activities, creating the most favorable conditions for exchanges between localities and businesses of the two countries.

ACC Secretary General Shi Zhongjun said that Vietnam-China cooperation is an important model and driving force for China-ASEAN cooperation. The two sides have achieved practical results in cooperation in many fields and enhanced cultural exchanges and people-to-people ties through a series of activities, including cultural performances, sister city establishment, youth exchanges and economic and trade connectivity.

ACC Secretary General Su Trung Tuan said that Vietnam-China cooperation is an important model and driving force for China-ASEAN cooperation.

Mr. Su Trung Tuan pointed out that in the coming time, the two sides need to continue to deepen friendly exchanges and cooperation, strengthen extensive cooperation in areas such as green economy, digital economy, cross-border tourism, optimize the business environment and cooperation mechanisms.

Chairman of the China Electronic Products Import-Export Association Truong Ngoc Tinh also pointed out remarkable achievements in Vietnam-China economic and trade cooperation, in which mechanical and electronic products occupy an important position in bilateral trade.

As a bridge, Mr. Truong Ngoc Tinh said that in the coming time, the Chamber of Commerce will strengthen cooperation with the Vietnamese Embassy in China and relevant business associations, actively promote cooperation between businesses of the two countries, especially in key areas, increase information sharing on economic and trade policies, investment needs and opportunities, and provide high-quality services to businesses of the two countries.

At the Vietnam - China Tourism and Investment Promotion Forum, delegates listened to presentations by Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Province Huynh Van Son, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Province Phung Thanh Vinh, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Province Hoang Xuan Tan, introducing the local investment, business and tourism environment and proposing cooperation contents; and speeches by representatives of enterprises and associations.

Representatives of Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises actively raised questions related to economic and trade cooperation between the two sides. On this occasion, localities and business associations also signed a series of cooperation memorandums of understanding.

At the Vietnam - China Friendship Exchange Festival, guests enjoyed typical cultural and artistic performances performed by artists from Vietnam and the China Foreign Cultural Corporation such as Chau Van performance Co Doi Thuong Ngan , Nam Bo amateur music Da Co Hoai Lang , Xuyen Kich art (face-changing), traditional musical instrument performances and fashion collections from designers Quynh Paris, Ivan Tran, Le Huu Nhan.
