Exciting Bodybuilding Competition, Sport Physique

After two days of exciting competition, on the evening of May 18, at Hai Phong City Theater Square, the Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports closed the Bodybuilding, Sport Physique, Hoa Phuong Do Cup - Hai Phong Open 2024.

The organizing committee awarded prizes to athletes of the 2024 Hai Phong Open Bodybuilding and Sport Physique Cup.

Participating in this year's tournament are 20 clubs from provinces and cities across the country including: Hai Phong, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, Thai Binh , Hai Duong, Bac Giang and Da Nang, with a total of 80 registered athletes, including 66 male athletes and 14 female athletes.

Athletes compete in 16 events for 16 sets of medals.

The 2024 Hai Phong Open Bodybuilding and Sport Physique Competition of the Hoa Phuong Do Cup has a difference compared to previous competitions, which is the first time to include the classic bodybuilding content for men and women; especially the Sport Physique content for men and women for athletes with beautiful bodies, without having to have large muscle mass like Bodybillding athletes to compete, suitable for athletes practicing movement. The tournament management, the Supervisory and Referee departments are coordinated by the Vietnam Weightlifting and Bodybuilding Federation to provide professional support. The tournament is held in an outdoor space (usually the tournament is held in an indoor area).

This is a practical activity to celebrate major holidays in May 2024; celebrate the 69th anniversary of Hai Phong's liberation (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2024) and respond to the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2024; continue to promote the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" for the period 2021 - 2030 and develop the movement of training and competing in Bodybuilding and Fitness.
