Striker Son Heung-min scored as Tottenham came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 3-1 in round 27 of the Premier League.
Tottenham kept their hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League alive as they scored three goals in just 11 minutes towards the end of the second half. Captain Son was named the best player of the match by Whoscored , with a rating of 8.1, thanks to his first goal since the 2023 Asian Cup, when he clashed with his South Korean teammate Lee Kang-in.
In the 88th minute, taking advantage of a careless back pass from a Crystal Palace player, Son rushed down to face the goalkeeper, before curling the ball into the right corner, fooling Sam Johnstone. The Korean star could have celebrated his goal earlier, if his one-touch shot in the second half had not been denied by the post.

Ange Postecoglou's team helped Tottenham's fans get into the spirit, cheering even more enthusiastically. Just three minutes later, midfielder James Maddison crossed the ball from the right for center-back Cristian Romero to jump high and head it into the far corner, giving goalkeeper Sam Johnstone no chance to block it.
Before scoring three goals in a row, Tottenham had a lot of trouble with Crystal Palace's defensive counter-attacking style. From a situation like that, the away team brought a free kick from the left wall, less than 20 meters away. Midfielder Eberechi Eze took the free kick, curling it into the far corner to open the score, but that was all the away team could do.
The three points put Tottenham six points clear of Man Utd and just two points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa. Tottenham will next face Aston Villa at Villa Park on March 10.
