Affirming that the career of "growing people" has never been an easy path, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture , hopes that each staff and lecturer of the Academy will work together to contribute to building an increasingly developed Academy and an increasingly strong agriculture.

In her speech at the 42nd Anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, Director of Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, emphasized that over the 68 years of construction and development with a long and proud tradition, the Academy has made many outstanding contributions to the cause of training human resources, especially high-quality human resources in research and technology transfer, serving the country.

The Academy has been recognized by the Party and the State with noble awards such as the Labor Hero Medal, the Ho Chi Minh Medal and many other medals and orders. These achievements are due to the great contributions of generations of teachers and students of the Academy.

Generations of teachers, staff, and workers of the Academy have made tireless efforts to build and develop the Academy with both intelligence and compassion. The Academy has trained tens of thousands of highly qualified engineers, bachelors, veterinarians, masters, and doctors for the country. The Academy has also contributed many scientific and technical advances and valuable plant and animal breeds to the development of the country and the agricultural sector.

From 2014 to present, the Academy has organized 9 Agricultural Startup Competitions, attracting 1,300 projects from hundreds of universities, colleges, high schools, and localities, of which over 50% of the projects are from Academy students.

Over the past 9 years, students of the Academy have won 5 first prizes in the National Startup Competition and many other awards.

"Throughout that history, teachers have not only been the ones imparting knowledge but also the pioneers, creators of knowledge, ready to commit and dedicate themselves for the benefit of learners and the common good of society. The Academy has constantly grown and changed every day, with more spacious facilities, more modernly equipped laboratories, a greener and cleaner environment, better and better material and spiritual lives for staff, higher training quality and employment rate of students - reaching 97% after one year of graduation, the Academy's reputation has been increasingly enhanced", emphasized Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan.

According to the Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, in the current context of integration and development, before the requirements of the 4.0 revolution, of the period of strong digital transformation, the role of the intellectual team, the role of teachers, teachers becomes more important than ever. Teachers at universities both perform the duties of a teacher, a teacher, and a scientist, day and night creating and innovating to have new research, serving training, serving society better.

"Faced with the new challenges of the new period, the new era, we need to make more efforts in teaching, scientific research, transferring science and technology into production and devote ourselves to a bright future for the Academy, actively contributing to the development of agriculture and rural development", Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan sent a message to teachers, staff and civil servants of the Academy.

The Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture also hopes that the students of the Academy will have enough capacity and qualities to become good citizens, good officials, good managers and entrepreneurs in the future, with many aspirations to contribute to the development of agriculture and rural development of the country.

On the occasion of November 20, on behalf of the Academy's leadership, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan also expressed her deepest gratitude to all generations of teachers, staff, and workers who have been and are dedicating day and night to the noble mission of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture.

But with love for the profession, perseverance and a heart always turned towards the young generation, I believe that together we will overcome all challenges, reap new achievements, and contribute to building an increasingly developed Academy and an increasingly strong agriculture", said Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan.

At the Vietnam Teachers' Day Celebration, the Center for Education Quality Assessment, Hanoi National University announced the decision and awarded certificates of 10 quality training programs to 09 faculties: Mechanics - Electricity, Food Technology, Information Technology, Economics and Management, Tourism and Foreign Languages, Agronomy, Aquaculture, Natural Resources and Environment, Social Sciences are faculties with quality training programs.

Vietnam Academy of Agriculture has organized to honor and reward groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the recent past. This is a source of encouragement and motivation for each officer, civil servant and employee in the Academy to be more proud and love the profession they have chosen - Teaching profession - Cultivating people associated with the training missions of the Academy.
