Actress Le Phuong had been hesitant before accepting to play the character Kimmie in the series "Don't even think about escaping me" (broadcast on VieON from early July 2025) by director Nguyen Hoang Anh. This is the most unique and novel role in her career so far. She had to cut her hair, wear a suit, look handsome and stylish with cold, determined eyes to portray a character from the LGBTQ+ community (the community of homosexuals, bisexuals, bisexuals...). "I had to think carefully about whether to accept or not. If I don't do well, I will be very disappointed. But if I miss this opportunity, I will probably regret it for the rest of my career" - Le Phuong shared.

However, with the great attraction of the unique role, the support from her husband and family, Le Phuong stepped out of her comfort zone, accepted the role, and made efforts to perform. To transform into this role, Le Phuong had to research and learn from many people, many sources, observe and practice walking and talking like a real man. Le Phuong's efforts paid off when the role received positive reviews from the audience.

Although the screen time is not much, the role of Mr. Ma played by People's Artist Dao Ba Son in the movie "Ut Lan: Oan Linh Giu Cu" has created its own mark. This is a villain with an evil face and a sinister smile, which he portrayed vividly and convincingly on the big screen. The interesting and different color of the role compared to the roles he has played before is also one of the factors that attracted People's Artist Dao Ba Son to take the role.

Producer Lan Anh said that People's Artist Dao Ba Son had many suggestions during the filming phase to make the role of Mr. Ma full-bodied, with a destiny and suitable for the film's story. In the acting profession, whether veteran or young actors, getting roles with unique and impressive personalities and destinies is not easy. When they have the opportunity, they are willing to participate even if the role is not long, they are supporting the main role or the filmmaker's salary is not commensurate. With these types of roles, they not only have the freedom to be creative and sublimate with the role but also have the opportunity to leave an impression in the hearts of the audience.
