Also on August 15, VTV sent an official dispatch to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF), with the following content: "After the working exchange process, up to now, VTV has not yet reached an agreement on cooperation in producing and broadcasting matches of Vietnam's professional football tournaments withFPT Telecommunication Joint Stock Company (FPT).

Therefore, matches of the 2025 - 2026 national championship and other tournaments may not be broadcast on VTV.

VTT said: VTV will continue to work with FPT Company to soon reach an agreement on cooperation in broadcasting tournaments. At the same time, VTV will also continue to accompany VFF and VPF in promoting and advertising tournaments, serving the country's sports- loving audience.
