Free cancer screening for female workers

DNO - This morning, August 4, at Ban Thach ward, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized a health check-up program for female union members, workers, and laborers working at Tam Thang Industrial Park and Thuan Yen Industrial Park (Ban Thach ward).

At the program, 400 female workers received consultation and medical examination by doctors, including VIA technique for cervical cancer screening, bacterial staining, ultrasound of the uterus, ovaries, breast ultrasound, fresh fungal examination... In addition to free examination services, union members can register for other items and pay for the additional costs themselves.

The activity aims to contribute to caring for and supporting female workers and laborers to have the opportunity to be screened and detect diseases early for timely treatment. At the same time, it encourages union members and laborers to continue to unite, overcome difficulties, and complete assigned tasks well.

Through the program, the Da Nang City Labor Federation hopes that businesses and employers will continue to coordinate with trade unions to actively care for the material and spiritual lives as well as the health of workers.
