
On the morning of September 29, at 8:00 a.m., the Da Nang City Border Guard Command received information from the People's Committee of Tan Hiep Commune about three patients being treated at the Military-Civilian Medical Station on the island.
Three patients, including Ms. Nguyen Thi Qui (81 years old, resident of Bai Lang village) was diagnosed with a stroke; Mr. Tran Van Thu (55 years old, resident of Bai Ong village) had gastrointestinal bleeding; Mr. Ngo Tan My (57 years old, resident of Bai Huong village) was bitten by a dog.

After receiving the information, the Da Nang City Border Guard Command directed the Cu Lao Cham Border Guard Station to support medical forces in monitoring the patient; at the same time, mobilized ship BP 08.1501 and 5 officers and soldiers of Border Guard Squadron 2 Son Tra to the island to support.
At 12:15 pm on the same day, the rescue team received three patients from Cu Lao Cham Border Guard Station and Military and Civilian Medical Station, and urgently brought them to the mainland. At 1:15 pm, the Border Guard ship brought the three patients to Stone Construction Station 15 (Son Tra Border Guard Station), and handed them over to the 115 Emergency Center in Da Nang.
