This program is sponsored by the Management Board of the program to support wounded and sick soldiers, Agent Orange victims, the poor and students in difficult circumstances in Vietnam and the MCNV organization (Netherlands).

At the program, representatives of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations presented two gratitude houses, worth 70 million VND each, to Ms. Hoang Thi Lanh, in Trieu Van commune, Trieu Phong district, a former youth volunteer, in difficult circumstances, currently living alone, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Quy, in Gio Son commune, Gio Linh district, wife of martyr Phan Van Khanh. Ms. Quy is old, weak, and has a serious heart disease.

Awarding 10 scholarships worth 1 million VND each to students in Trieu Phong district who are children of wounded, sick and martyr families; in the coming time, 40 scholarships will be awarded in Trieu Phong district, the total value of the program is 190 million VND.

Through meaningful gifts, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations hopes to share some of the difficulties of families with meritorious services, helping disadvantaged students have more conditions for the new school year, thereby motivating them to excel in their studies and training.

Happy to receive the scholarship from the program, Le Thi Linh Chi, a student of class 11B3, Trieu Phong High School, shared: "My grandmother is a war invalid, my family's circumstances are very difficult. Today, receiving the scholarship from the program, I feel very happy. I will try to study well to not let down the love that everyone has given me."
