Accordingly, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam is assigned to comprehensively assess the capacity to supervise aviation safety, especially the quality of the supervisory team according to market development requirements and international regulations.
At the same time, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam must urgently complete the project to establish an agency to investigate aircraft incidents and accidents and the project of an aviation safety data center, creating a basis for information sharing, proactively identifying and preventing risks. In addition, reviewing, upgrading and promptly resolving aviation infrastructure incidents is also a key task.
The Ministry of Construction requires that safety supervision must be implemented vigorously, both regularly and suddenly, for airlines, service units and airports. Violations that threaten safety will be strictly handled.
In the coming time, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam will closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security , the Ministry of National Defense and localities in ensuring aviation security, including cyber security and information security.
For the Department of Construction of provinces and cities with airports, the Ministry of Construction recommends proactively advising local People's Committees to direct competent agencies to resolutely implement measures to prevent and handle safety risks such as the use of high-power light sources, laser lights, kite flying, drones and obstacles that violate airspace clearance height.
Localities must also strengthen control of birds, wild animals and livestock around the airport area; disseminate laws on aviation safety and security to people, especially in areas near airports and roads adjacent to airports.
