Strengthen inspection, control and prevention of gold smuggling activities

On September 29, the Khanh Hoa Department of Industry and Trade requested the Khanh Hoa Provincial Market Management Department to coordinate with relevant authorities to implement management measures, strengthen inspection, control, and prevent gold smuggling activities in the province; organize propaganda and mobilize gold trading establishments to sign a commitment not to smuggle gold and strictly handle violations within their authority (if any).

Previously, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a document directing relevant agencies, units and People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to strictly implement the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc in Notice No. 496, dated September 19, 2025, concluding the meeting on monetary and fiscal policy management and gold market management.
