Strengthening propaganda on drug prevention and control in the new situation

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province has just issued a document on propaganda of drug prevention and control in the new situation.

The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province Police organized propaganda about the harmful effects and identification of new types of drugs for people in Nha Trang ward to prevent them.

Accordingly, the Department requests media agencies, newspapers, People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones, specialized departments and affiliated public service units to step up propaganda on the Law on Drug Prevention and Control; Conclusion No. 132, dated March 18, 2025 of the Politburo and Resolution No. 93, dated April 16, 2025 of the Government implementing Conclusion No. 132 on enhancing the effectiveness of drug prevention, control and control; propaganda to clearly state the harmful effects of drugs, especially synthetic drugs and those "disguised" in the form of stamps, American weed, tongue charms, laughing gas, fruit juice, candy or electronic cigarettes; popularize the methods and tricks of drug criminals so that people, especially young people, students, ordinary workers and ethnic minorities, can raise their vigilance and proactively prevent them.

Media agencies are required to introduce advanced models and examples in drug prevention and control; provide necessary knowledge and skills for people to protect themselves and their families; propagate and mobilize people to actively denounce and provide information on drug crimes to authorities and promptly reflect efforts to fight and suppress drug crimes, destroy complicated drug networks and hotspots in the province, contributing to building a safe and healthy living environment.
