Lam Dong strives to disburse over 95% of capital for key agricultural projects

On the afternoon of September 26, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a working session to evaluate the progress of the Project on Improving Infrastructure to Serve Agricultural Development in the area.

The Project to Improve Infrastructure for Agricultural Development in Lam Dong Province, Phase 1, has a total investment capital of more than VND 1,159 billion from ODA loans from the Japanese Government and domestic counterpart capital, with the Project Management Board of Construction Investment No. 1 as the investor.

Implementation period from 2020 - 2028, with a scale of 15 sub-projects belonging to 3 components: Civil construction, transport and irrigation.

According to the report, of the 15 sub-projects, 12 projects must carry out site clearance compensation work spread over 10 wards and communes in the central area of ​​the province.

Regarding the inventory work to determine the current status of houses, structures, and crops, up to now, 8 sub-projects have completed the inventory of the current status of houses, structures, and crops; 3 sub-projects are being implemented, and 1 sub-project is redetermining the compensation and site clearance plan.

In 2025 alone, the project was allocated more than 48.7 billion VND in investment capital. To date, only nearly 16 billion VND has been disbursed, reaching a rate of 32.7%.

The reasons for the slow progress were identified as difficulties in coordination, legal procedures regarding land reclamation notices, as well as the impact of the process of merging the two-level local government apparatus.

In particular, he requested relevant units to focus on completing compensation and site clearance work. Strive to start construction of a number of sub-projects in the fourth quarter of 2025.

On the other hand, focus on urging design consulting and design review units to speed up the progress of contract implementation to ensure the set progress. Strive to complete all the work of preparing design documents and construction drawings of the sub-projects in the end of the third quarter - early fourth quarter of 2025 for appraisal and approval. The goal is to disburse over 95% of the capital plan assigned in 2025. Thereby, contributing to speeding up the progress and soon putting the project into service of the province's agricultural infrastructure development.
