This second richest billionaire in India affirmed that they are ready to contribute to the development of Vietnam, especially in the fields that Vietnam is interested in such as strategic infrastructure, energy, renewable energy, new technologies such as AI. At the same time, they asked Vietnam to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the group's activities.
Responding to investors, General Secretary To Lam highly appreciated the group's interest in and development of a long-term investment strategy in Vietnam, thereby contributing to increasing cooperation and connecting the two economies . At the same time, he acknowledged Adani's proposals; requested the group to proactively work with ministries, branches and localities to clarify requirements and cooperation orientations, thereby speeding up projects of interest.
Vietnam and India are now Comprehensive Strategic Partners. The General Secretary stressed that the two countries have many similarities in their national development strategies, both aiming to become modern developed countries after 100 years of founding. Therefore, he said that the two sides need to increase cooperation in all fields, especially promoting economic, trade and investment relations commensurate with their potential.
The General Secretary shared that Vietnam is making strategic breakthroughs, prioritizing science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation, and private economic development. This is in the spirit of creating all favorable conditions for businesses, both domestic and foreign, to have the opportunity to develop and contribute to the country.
"In that spirit, Vietnam always welcomes foreign enterprises, including Indian enterprises, to expand investment in Vietnam," the General Secretary emphasized.
