Cruise ship on fire

According to initial information from Cat Hai district authorities, at around 5:00 p.m. on August 2, while anchored in the sea area of ​​Phu Long commune, a wooden tourist boat with license plate number QN-6259 from Quang Ninh province caught fire.

Upon receiving the news of the ship fire, the authorities of Hai Phong City, Cat Hai District and Phu Long Commune dispatched forces and vehicles, including: Fire Prevention and Fighting Police, Border Guard, Commune Militia, Passenger Ferry at Got-Cai Vieng Ferry Terminal, Fire Fighting and Rescue Ship Hai Phong 01... to participate in fighting the fire.

By about 6 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically extinguished. When the fire broke out, there were 6 crew members on board, all of whom were brought safely to the Phu Long Commune People's Committee headquarters. Currently, the authorities of Hai Phong City and Cat Hai District are urgently dealing with the consequences and verifying and investigating the cause of the fire.
