Thai Nguyen T&T dropped the victory on the opening day of the National Championship.

(NLDO) - On the opening day of the 2025 National Women's Football Championship, Thai Nguyen T&T Club led by two goals but still had to share points with the opponent.

On the afternoon of September 4, the National Women's Football Championship - Thai Son Bac Cup 2025 officially opened at Thanh Tri Stadium ( Hanoi ). Immediately after the opening ceremony, Thai Nguyen T&T and Vietnam National Coal and Minerals (KSVN) brought a dramatic opening match of the season.

Right after the opening whistle, Thai Nguyen T&T entered the game with great enthusiasm. After only 17 minutes, they led 2-0 thanks to a beautiful long-range shot by female player Bich Thuy and a goal by young player Ngoc Minh Chuyen.

However, Than KSVN remained resilient and slowly rose up when they shortened the score in the 37th minute thanks to a close-range header by Ha Thi Nhai.

In the second half, Truc Huong equalized 2-2, bringing the match back to the starting line and opening up a fierce tug-of-war. However, both teams created many opportunities in the remaining time but the decisive goal did not come.

The opening match ended in a 2-2 draw, leaving many regrets for Thai Nguyen T&T Women's Club on the opening day.

Than KSVN still fought hard and equalized 2-2, forcing Thai Nguyen T&T to share points.

In the same match at PVF Stadium, Hanoi beat Phong Phu Ha Nam 1-0. The only goal of the match came in the 8th minute. Nguyen Thi Hoa had a beautiful shot after a pass from Hai Yen, scoring the only goal to bring home 3 points for the capital team.

Tomorrow (September 5), the remaining match of the round is the internal match between TP HCM 2 vs TP HCM 1 which will take place at 3:30 p.m.
