Please answer your questions as follows:
Number of members : Each Club has about 15 to 30 members (including boys and girls). If possible, there should be activity groups for boys and activity groups for girls. There are contents that need to be divided into groups by gender (separate groups for boys and girls) for in-depth discussion.
Selection criteria: Boys and girls who want to actively contribute to building a safe, friendly and equal environment can voluntarily register to join the Club of Change at their school/village/hamlet/hamlet. Specifically:
+ Children from 10 to 16 years old living in the same village community (if the club is in the community), for schools, it should be established according to junior high schools, selecting children from different grades.
+ Voluntary, dynamic, pioneering will change themselves to fulfill children's rights and duties. Commit to fully participate in the club's activities at school and in the village.
+ Have good discipline, teamwork skills, confident in front of a crowd, responsible, have the desire to change and develop the community. Priority is given to those who can communicate in Vietnamese (Kinh) and their ethnic language.
+ Ensure health to join the Club.
* In case you cannot find children who meet all the above criteria, encourage them to be active and meet the criteria as close as possible to joining the Club. All children participating must have the consent of their parents or guardians.
Roles and responsibilities:
+ They have the role of leading and motivating children in the community or students in schools to speak up about the right to live safely, to be protected from violence, abuse, child marriage... on the basis of being equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
+ As club members, you act as a propaganda nucleus in school and in the community to disseminate information and call for the participation of other friends, parents and the community in activities to promote gender equality and protect children in the family, at school and in the community.
+ Children will be encouraged to participate in dialogue forums with parents, local authorities, teachers, commune and provincial leaders and state management agencies on promoting gender equality and child protection.
+ Club members are responsible for fully participating in training sessions, meetings, and activities; supporting each other, actively performing tasks assigned by the Board of Directors; communicating to friends at school and in the community about the Club's contents.
* In schools where there are too many participants, it is possible to select students who really want to make a change.
