With a big win over U23 Jordan, U23 Indonesia entered the quarter-finals of U23 Asia 2024

Holding the right to decide after defeating U23 Australia, U23 Indonesia continued to win against U23 Jordan with a score of 4-1 to pass the group stage. The team of thousands of islands entered the quarterfinals in the first time participating in the U23 Asian tournament.

Before the match, both U23 Indonesia and U23 Jordan had a chance to advance. The two teams started quickly and created an attractive game. Players from both sides took advantage of their good physical strength to deploy a direct attacking style of play.

In the 4th minute, U23 Indonesia had a chance to open the score but Rafael Struick's shot hit the position of goalkeeper Ahmad Al Juaidi. 4 minutes later, Pratama Arhan threw the ball straight into the net of U23 Jordan but the referee did not recognize it because the ball had not touched any player.

Immediately after that, the West Asian team reduced the score to 1-3. Before the end of the match, Komang Teguh scored the final goal to make it 4-1 from a throw-in by Prata Arhan.

U23 Indonesia qualified for the next round as second place in the group. They will face either U23 Korea or U23 Japan in the quarter-finals.
