Loving the work "Chi Pheo" by Nam Cao, artist Thanh Huong decided to tell the love story of Chi Pheo - Thi No through music .
After joining the program Voice Battle 2024 , Thanh Huong decided to pursue a professional singing career with her first MV The story of Chi Pheo.
Artist Thanh Huong said she likes literary works. Chi Pheo by writer Nam Cao since her high school days. Therefore, she wanted to tell the love story of the characters Chi Pheo - Thi No through music. The song only focuses on the story of the two characters. They are like many other couples, with pure love, without selfishness. The song The Story of Chi Pheo folk melody, composed by musician Minh Duong especially for Thanh Huong.
Although it was their first time collaborating, Thanh Huong and Minh Duong were very much in tune with each other. They both hoped that through the melodies of music, they could nurture the love of traditional culture in young people, as well as the purity of love between couples.
Thanh Huong loved singing since she was young, studied at the Central University of Art Education, and entered the top 10 of the Hanoi Singing Contest. The turning point in her life was when Thanh Huong studied choreography at the Vietnam Dance Academy. From then on, she pursued a career in dance, founded a dance troupe, and performed in all provinces and cities across the country.
In 2024, artist Thanh Huong participated Singing Battle and from then on, the dream of singing filled her again. Pursuing professional singing at the age of over 30 may be risky for many people, but artist Thanh Huong expressed: " With the advantage of singing and dancing, I want to create art with depth and meaning. As long as you have passion and dedication, it's never too late."
Making her first MV, Thanh Huong encountered financial difficulties but with the help of friends, she confidently brought a quality product to her fans.
