Tuyen Quang city and Malypho district cooperate to develop culture and tourism

Attending the meeting were comrade Ta Duc Tuyen, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Tuyen Quang City Party Committee; leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of the Provincial Tourism Management Board; and the Provincial Investment Promotion Center.

On behalf of the Malypho County Delegation, China, there was Mr. Phung Nhue, Secretary of Malypho County, Chau Van Son, Yunnan Province.

At the meeting, Secretary of the City Party Committee Ta Duc Tuyen gave an overview of the economic , cultural and social development of Tuyen Quang city in recent years. He emphasized that since 1998, Tuyen Quang town (now Tuyen Quang city) has established a cooperative relationship with Malypho district.

Over the past 20 years, the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two localities has continuously developed in a comprehensive direction and achieved positive results. The two localities have organized many delegations to visit, exchange and learn experiences in investment, economic development, participate in trade and tourism fairs... Currently, in Tuyen Quang city, there is a project of Chinese investors with a total investment of over 100 million USD.

At the meeting, the leaders of the two localities informed about the results of foreign affairs activities and the socio-economic development of the two sides. With the motto "Friendly neighbors, comprehensive cooperation, long-term stability, towards the future", the two localities discussed, reached consensus and exchanged cooperation agreements on cultural and tourism development in a more extensive and sustainable manner in the following years.

Leaders of the City Party Committee and People's Committee of Tuyen Quang city presented Malypho district with a painting of the Uncle Ho Monument cluster with the ethnic people of Tuyen Quang province.

The contents of the agreement include: Strengthening exchanges and cooperation in tourism resources and tourism products; strengthening tourism promotion and market expansion; promoting exchanges and cooperation between tourism businesses and tourism industry personnel. The two sides will send art troupes to participate in activities celebrating each other's major holidays, organizing cultural exchanges and friendship exchanges.
