More Southern universities conduct additional recruitment exams

Many southern universities are recruiting hundreds to thousands of additional students, including many public schools.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade

Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade recruits two additional regular majors and international joint programs. Admission methods include: High school graduation exam scores in 2025; High school transcripts of grades 10, 11 and 12; results of the competency assessment test organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025; test results of the specialized competency assessment test of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education combined with high school study results according to the subject combination corresponding to each major.

The school converts foreign language certificates into English subject admission scores, only applicable to method 1 of admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025 or method 2 of admission using high school study results of grades 10, 11 and 12.

Saigon International University

Saigon International University is recruiting 350 additional students for 29 undergraduate training majors. The deadline for receiving additional applications is September 10.

The school applies all 3 admission methods including: Considering the 12th grade transcript, the total score of 3 subjects in the admission group is from 18 points or higher. Considering the results of the 2025 high school exam, candidates achieve a score of 3 subjects from 15-18 points or higher according to each major. Considering the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's 2025 aptitude test, the score for receiving applications is from 600 points/1200.

Vietnam Aviation Academy

Vietnam Aviation Academy recruits 470 additional students according to 6 methods including considering graduation exam scores, academic records, assessment of capacity of Ho Chi Minh City National University, Hanoi National University, SAT, ACT, IB.

Candidates applying for the English Language major, in addition to the minimum score requirement, must also meet one of two conditions: High school exam score in English in 2025 from 6 or international English certificate from IELTS 4.5 or higher (and equivalent); Academic transcript score for the entire 12th grade subject TA from 8.0 or higher or international English certificate from IELTS 5.0 or higher (and equivalent).

Candidates admitted based on SAT/ACT/IB scores or admitted by method 5 (direct admission), if the subject/field of the candidate's award is English, do not need to consider the above condition.

Nha Trang University

Nha Trang University is recruiting more than 600 additional students for 23 majors using the method of high school exam scores and competency assessment scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University and Hanoi National University. The additional recruitment period is until September 5.
