Realizing that the patriotic emulation movement creates an important driving force to practice medical ethics and improve professional qualifications, in recent years, Meritorious Physician, Doctor CKII Le Hoa, Deputy Head of the Department of Intensive Care - Anti-Poison, Phu Yen General Hospital has always strived to overcome difficulties and successfully complete the task of taking care of people's health.
In the condition that the department is often overloaded, the emergency environment is stressful, the facilities and equipment are limited, Dr. Le Hoa and his colleagues actively respond to emulation movements, arousing the will and belief to overcome difficulties, being dedicated to the profession, and wholeheartedly serving the patients. Dr. Le Hoa and his team have applied many new techniques in resuscitation such as modern mechanical ventilation, continuous blood filtration, plasma exchange, prone position for ARDS treatment, coronary intervention, etc., helping to reduce mortality rates and improve the quality of treatment. The Artificial Kidney Unit of the Department of Intensive Care - Anti-poisoning due to blood shortages, patients with insufficient dialysis treatment, has now ensured a stable dialysis cycle for nearly 320 patients with chronic kidney failure, significantly reducing the need for blood transfusions thanks to the reasonable use of hematopoietic drugs.

Not stopping there, Dr. Le Hoa also participates in training and transferring techniques to lower levels, and has many scientific research projects that have been accepted and published such as: Evaluation of blood glucose in acute cerebrovascular accidents; Lipid disorders in acute cerebral infarction; Ventilator-associated pneumonia; Acute poisoning and catheter complications; Anemia in chronic kidney patients on periodic hemodialysis...
Another example in the patriotic emulation movement is the medical staff of Krong A commune (formerly M'Drak district), an area more than 120 km from the center of Dak Lak province, located in a remote area, with ethnic minorities accounting for over 98%, of which the H'Mong people account for 80%. Despite the difficulties, over the years, the staff of Cu San Medical Station have persevered to overcome difficulties, linking the emulation movement with each specific task.
In the period of 2021 - 2025, Dak Lak health sector has 235 certificates of merit, 15 provincial-level emulation fighters, 11 provincial-level emulation flags, 5,837 certificates of merit, 897 grassroots emulation fighters, 211 excellent labor collectives and 30 excellent doctors honored. |
Dr. Vi Van Dai, Head of Cu San Health Station, said that in the context of a lack of professional human resources, limited facilities, language barriers and many outdated customs still prevalent, the staff of the station have trained themselves to learn the H'Mong language to provide bilingual health care advice to people, building a friendly and close-to-the-people health station. Every year, Cu San Health Station examines and treats thousands of patients, emergency cases are handled promptly, 100% of people use health insurance cards when going for medical examination. In particular, through the movement to encourage pregnant mothers to give birth at medical facilities, health advice through social networking sites, and the expanded vaccination work has been promoted, positive results have been achieved. Up to now, in the area, over 92% of pregnant women have their pregnancies managed, more than 95% of births take place at medical facilities, and the rate of full vaccination of children has reached over 70%.
According to Deputy Director of the Department of Health Hoang Nguyen Duy, in the past 5 years, the provincial health sector has actively responded to and launched many patriotic emulation movements associated with political tasks, bringing about many clear changes in both professional quality and style of serving the people. Along with that, the work of protecting, caring for and improving people's health has achieved many important results, especially in the field of medical examination and treatment.
Currently, all hospitals in the province have arranged and completed the medical examination and treatment process in a continuous and convenient direction for patients; at the same time, promoting the application of information technology from the reception stage, medical record management, financial management to health insurance payment, both creating convenience for patients and transparency in management.
Individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2021 - 2025 period were commended by the Dak Lak Department of Health. |

At the same time, the health sector has focused on strengthening grassroots health care, increasing staff, directing the line, providing professional support for the grassroots level and disadvantaged communes; ensuring adequate supply of drugs, chemicals, and biological products for medical examination and treatment. The movement "Innovating service style and attitude, aiming at patient satisfaction" and building "Green - clean - beautiful medical facilities" has been implemented synchronously, creating trust and satisfaction for people when accessing medical services.
In the upcoming new period, Dak Lak health sector will continue to build and perfect the provincial health system in the direction of development, modernity and efficiency, ensuring that all people enjoy quality health care services.
