The organizing committee of Hanoi Singing Contest 2025 shared at a press conference on October 15 to launch the contest after the success of the previous two seasons 2023 and 2024.

Hanoi Singing 2025 has many new features

The organizers informed that this year, in addition to Vietnamese contestants, the contest welcomes contestants from all over the world .

Another new point in the format, the challenges are designed to be closely related to music such as impromptu singing, limited-time remixing, performing with musical instruments... to increase drama and entertainment.

Journalist Thai Hang, deputy head of the organizing committee, said that Hanoi Voice still emphasizes professionalism, but this year it will add music challenges (games) to create a new, more lively and closer look to the television audience. This is also the trend of many international music competitions today.

Hanoi Radio is not out of the trend.

Currently, there are television production units that build ecosystems for contestants/artists after competitions/game shows/reality TV programs to take advantage of and exploit the life cycle of a television product.

For example, after the reality TV show Anh trai vu ngan cong gai, the producer of this show developed a series of concerts from the South to the North, then added Haha Family , All-round Rookie , and now Y-Concert in December, gathering more than 50 artists from these shows.

After Anh trai say hi , the producer released another concert series with a female version called Em xinh say hi . Or after? Talent Rendezvous, VTV continues to produce Music Bus with the participation of contestants from this program.

Responding to Tuoi Tre Online , journalist Nguyen Kim Khiem - General Director, Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Radio and Television, head of the contest's steering committee - shared that this is currently a trend and Hanoi Radio is no exception.

" Hanoi Singing is identified as a part of the city's cultural and artistic ecosystem, in line with the thematic resolution on developing Hanoi's cultural industry," he informed.

Mr. Khiem added that the contestants who won high prizes from previous seasons are regularly invited to participate in quality art programs organized by Hanoi Radio such as Hanoi Melody, Hanoi Concert ...

The station has also been supporting artists to release music products (albums, MVs, CDs) on international online platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, and YouTube, helping them get closer to the public.

Contestants will go through three rounds: preliminary, semi-final and final, starting from October 25th to December this year. The final ranking and award ceremony is scheduled to take place on December 9th.

Regarding the prize structure, 1 special prize receives a total value of up to 600 million VND, including cash and a car, 3 first prizes worth 100 million VND, 3 second prizes worth 50 million VND and 3 third prizes worth 30 million VND. The secondary prizes are each worth 10 million VND.
