Hue City Children Firmly Step into a New Era

HNN.VN - That is one of the goals set at the conference to summarize the work of the Youth Union and school youth movement, the work of the Pioneers and children's movement in the 2024-2025 school year, and launch the program for the 2025-2026 school year organized by the City Youth Union on the afternoon of August 29.

Hue City Youth Union awarded scholarships to disadvantaged students at the launching ceremony of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the Youth Union and school youth movements always receive the attention and support of Party committees, authorities and enthusiastic responses from union members, students. Notably, 14/14 targets set for the school year were achieved, such as: 100% of Union officials, union members, 80% of youths studied, thoroughly grasped, propagated, and disseminated resolutions, guidelines, policies and laws; 15,000 union members and youths participated in volunteer activities organized by the Union and Association; Mobilized at least 3.2 billion VND to support scholarships...

Regarding the work of the Team and the children's movement, 11/11 targets set for the last school year were achieved. Notably, 100% of the teams organized for team members to go to red addresses; 100% of the teams organized thematic activities "Every week a beautiful story, a good book, a shining example" and "Building beautiful friendships, saying no to school violence"; each team supported and helped at least 15 children in difficult circumstances...

The Youth Union Councils at all levels have been proactive in advising Party committees and authorities and coordinating with relevant sectors to create resources and favorable conditions for the activities of the Youth Union organizations inside and outside schools.

On this occasion, the Hue City Youth Union also launched the 2025-2026 school year program with the theme "Hue City Children firmly step into the new era". In particular, the focus of the work is to innovate the movement "Vietnamese children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" associated with activities to educate traditions, ethics, and lifestyles. At the same time, focus on educating life skills, preventing violence, abuse, and network safety; promoting digital technology in training and developing children.
