The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that today, July 13, the weather in the North will have showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in mountainous areas, with showers to heavy rain.

South Central Coast (including Da Nang, Khanh Hoa provinces and coastal provinces of Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong) sunny during the day, hot in some places, showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night.

The Central Highlands and the South will be cloudy with occasional showers, with heavy rain in some places in the evening. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

Today, the sea weather in the Gulf of Tonkin, the central and southern areas of the East Sea (including the Truong Sa special zone), the sea area from Lam Dong to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. During the thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind and waves over 2m high.

All vessels operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
