Sammobiles has found authentication documents for the Galaxy S25 Ultra battery online at Safety Korea. Accordingly, this phone will use two different types of batteries with code names EB-BS938ABY and EB-BS938ABE.
The source also shared that these batteries are manufactured by Ningde Amperex Technology Limited in China. This is also one of the battery suppliers for the Galaxy S24 series along with Samsung SDI and ELENTEC.
Samsung is rumored to be working on a new technology that increases the energy density of batteries without changing their chemical composition. The change lies in the way the cells are arranged, and it's called stacking technology. And Samsung is expected to offer this technology for the S25 Ultra. The phone is expected to have a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
Previously, leaker Ice Universe said that this S25 Ultra phone will use a 4-camera system on the back. The cameras include a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera that supports 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP periscope lens that supports 5x optical zoom. Both telephoto cameras have PDAF and OIS.
The source also said that the S25 Ultra screen is also the same size as the previous model, which is 6.8 inches. It is known that the product can be launched exclusively with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. However, there are sources saying that Samsung can launch two versions, one version using Exynos 2500.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to come pre-installed with the OneUI 7 user interface based on Android 15 operating system upon launch. In addition, there are rumors that this smartphone will have a thinner body than its predecessor.
The S25 Ultra is expected to no longer have the sharp corners like on the S24 Ultra and will adopt a more curved design similar to the S23 Ultra and S22 Ultra.
