Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh: Hope School students should be directed to emerging industries

On September 1, a working delegation led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and encouraged students at Hy Vong School - a boarding school for unfortunate children who lost their parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic - founded byFPT Corporation.

Kindly inquiring about the students' studies and health, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was moved to see them radiant in traditional ethnic minority costumes.

"The school was established after the Covid-19 pandemic, no one can forget the pain of this pandemic. In that loss, there was the birth of the Hope School," the Prime Minister said and welcomed this idea of FPT.

According to the Prime Minister, this is also a fine tradition of our nation. When facing difficulties, losses and sacrifices, people unite and love each other. Hopefully, the students at Hy Vong School will preserve and develop this precious tradition to new heights.

"Students from 43 provinces and 13 ethnic groups gathered at this school, so I request that localities also maintain the connection between the locality and the school. FPT directs students to emerging industries, industries that FPT has the conditions to accept them. For example, software engineers, AI engineers, semiconductor chips... Thus, they will be more attached to FPT. This is FPT's welfare policy, I very much welcome it," said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the Party, the State and the people are always by the side of the students of Hy Vong School in particular and the students of the whole country in general. The school needs to propose any policies for development. According to the Prime Minister, investing in students is investing in development. This investment includes policies, mechanisms, financial resources and facilities to help students have better learning conditions.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Corporation, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, said that at Hy Vong School, students not only study but also develop comprehensively. "At Hope School, students are trained to become loving people, embracing the cultural values of Vietnamese people," Mr. Binh shared.

Within the framework of the event, FPT Corporation and FPT Long Chau Vaccination donated 10,000 vaccines to Hy Vong School and women and children of Da Nang City, contributing to promoting the development of preventive medicine and protecting people's health.

Hope School was established in 2021 by FPT Corporation and Hope Foundation, located in FPT City Urban Area, Da Nang, to nurture and train students who lost their parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic, wishing to share, love, and help them grow up. After 3 years, the school now has more than 300 students from 43 provinces, cities and 13 ethnic groups across the country.
