According to the assessment of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Implementation of Grassroots Democracy Regulations, in the first quarter of 2024, Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province focused on developing programs and plans to implement key tasks and launch emulation movements in 2024 associated with implementing grassroots democracy.

In particular, the Provincial Party Standing Committee organized a study session to disseminate the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in 2024 on "practicing democracy and strengthening the rule of law, ensuring social discipline". At the same time, it gave opinions on reviewing "suspended" planning projects that have lasted for many years, causing frustration and affecting people's lives; directed the removal of difficulties and obstacles to speed up the progress of projects, works, and disbursement of public investment capital, especially important and key projects and works. Specifically, the Phan Thiet Airport project; Ka Pet reservoir (Ham Thuan Nam district); expanding infrastructure construction to serve the production of Vinh Hao mineral water in Vinh Hao commune (Tuy Phong district); coastal axis road DT.719B (section through Ham Thuan Nam district) and Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh road...

The Provincial Steering Committee for the Implementation of Grassroots Democracy Regulations said that in the coming time, Party committees, authorities, heads of agencies, units, localities and enterprises will continue to deploy and seriously implement the Party's directive documents, the State's laws, and the Steering Committee for the Implementation of Grassroots Democracy Regulations at all levels on building and implementing democracy. Focus on deploying and implementing well the 2024 theme of the Provincial Party Committee "Improving competitiveness and satisfaction of people and enterprises" with specific and effective solutions. Agencies, units and localities complete the review, revision and supplementation of Grassroots Democracy Regulations to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Law on Implementation of Grassroots Democracy and documents detailing a number of articles of the law.

In addition, continue to direct, review, supplement and adjust regulations and rules related to the implementation of democracy associated with promoting the spirit of "mastery" of civil servants, public employees, workers and people. Strengthen the inspection and supervision of the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level, the observance of discipline, administrative discipline and public ethics. Create conditions for the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations to carry out supervision and social criticism.
