On June 9, at the Party Central Committee headquarters, Comrade Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Committee's Organizing Committee, received a high-ranking delegation of the Communist Party of India Marxist (CPI-M) led by Comrade Sitaram Yechury, General Secretary of the CPI-M, who visited and worked in Vietnam.

Comrade Truong Thi Mai warmly welcomed Comrade Sitaram Yechury's visit and work in Vietnam; informed the delegation about the recent situation in Vietnam, about a number of key tasks that the Communist Party of Vietnam is actively implementing; affirmed that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnam has transformed from a country with a poverty rate of 58% to a middle-income country in the world...

On the same day, at the Party Central Committee headquarters, Comrade Truong Thi Mai received a high-ranking delegation of the Communist Party of Cuba led by Comrade Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar, member of the Party Central Committee and First Secretary of the Havana City Party Committee, on the occasion of a visit and work in Vietnam.

Comrade Truong Thi Mai expressed her belief that the delegation's visit would contribute to further tightening the special friendship between the two Parties as well as between the two capitals of Hanoi and Havana. Comrade Truong Thi Mai reaffirmed the consistent policy of the Party and State of Vietnam in consistently supporting and uniting with the just revolutionary cause and heroic struggle of the Communist Party and the fraternal people of Cuba, and at the same time being ready to share, exchange experiences, and provide practical support to the fraternal people of Cuba within its capacity.
